Selected video layer
Select a video overlay block, or use + Overlay / + Background on a clip card.
Above-video keyframes capture X/Y and opacity at the playhead in preview and export. Width, fit, and background scale stay static so compositing remains predictable.
Search imported audio, style-aware picks, or the provider-backed music catalog. Search finds metadata first; preview/download only the track you choose. Use owned audio when publishing.
Selected imported sound layer
Use an imported audio card above, then add it as a real timeline layer. It will mix into the export.

TEXT PREVIEW
Drag the text block to retime it. Set keyframes after changing the inspector: position, size, and opacity animate in preview and export.
Real visual sticker overlays, plus imported pictures. They stay above the video, can be timed and resized, and never replace your curated clip order.
Choose a sticker, or select an imported picture on the overlay timeline to edit it.
Set keyframes after changing the inspector to animate picture/sticker position, width, and opacity in preview and export.
Preview these bounded accents immediately in the player. They render after the authored clip look and never replace manual cuts.
A live canvas treatment: blur, solid color, or pattern behind the selected clip, with rectangle, rounded, or ellipse masks. Select several clips with Ctrl+click before applying.

Reads the on-screen elimination banner — finds the ACTUAL frags and trims them for you. This is the main way; the manual controls below are only for clips it misses.

Manual trim: drag the video to the start → Set Start, to the end → Set End. For a kill, drag to the exact elimination frame → Set Kill (◀│/│▶ or ,/. nudge one frame). Then + Add KILL or + Add clip — or just hit ★ Auto-find kills above and skip all this.
3. Build your montage
The first combat cut lands on the music drop. Put your strongest marked kill first, then use Auto-arrange if you want a pacing suggestion.
Fortnite is the primary lane. This choice controls Scout, Auto-find, and Shorts framing; it does not change the title treatment.
PRISTINE AUTORECOMMENDED
Editor-grade montage, one click
Safe by default: when your timeline is already curated, it renders your exact order and trim points. Automatic planning makes a reviewable suggestion first, so it cannot silently replace the buildup or sequence you authored.
Auto-build quality options for suggestions
Keep my order follows the sequence you selected. Story order ranks an opener, variation, and finale like a conventional auto edit.
Keep source preserves every authored in/out point. Beat-fit may tighten or expand around the kill for faster musical pacing.

Auto suggestion ready — your timeline is untouched.Preview it, apply it, or discard it.
Nothing disappears silently. Uncertain kills and finishes go to Review Center. Audio spikes are disabled as a kill signal; audio is used only for music structure, mixing, and final safety checks.
Montage shortcuts
Automate the repetitive polish while keeping your curated video order, cuts, and buildup untouched. Every change is one undo step.
Ready. These shortcuts never reorder, replace, or retime your manual video clips.
Intro buildup
Optional. Choose a calm build/edit clip to hold the music intro before the drop.

The shared mix now uses restrained, style-weighted hits on confirmed impacts and meaningful transitions, with music ducking around the event. Turn it off when you want a completely natural game-audio bed.
Branding + ending optional
The recommended ending keeps the final play continuous and fades it once. Replay is available when you intentionally want the old tail-repeat behavior.
Optional. Clear it for a clean handle-only ending, or write your own line. The editor changes the final render.
These choices change only the small credit line. The main title's cards, motion, and finish stay untouched.
The paper motion is shared, but Pop and Classic keep their own card colors. The controls below adjust the same ransom/paper treatment; they do not replace it.
Keep ransom/paper, then tune scale, position, ink, paper edge, font, and depth.
The title and its independent credit line stay at the start. Kill markers and transitions own the gameplay effects.
Gameplay-first: a brief animated overlay, not a separate title card. Adjust from 1–10 seconds; saved project timing is preserved.
Export details optional
Every preset is hard-checked for resolution, 60 fps, loudness, clipping, black frames, silence, and freezes. The vertical preset keeps the same curated timeline and center-crops it by default.
Only used for the 9:16 preset. Fit keeps the full widescreen composition in the center with a blurred canvas above and below.
